Pet/House Sitter & Dog Walker Requirements

Our pet sitters and dog walkers are savvy -- safe, qualified, professional, responsible and knowledgeable!

Each sitter has pet care experience and has passed the standard Savvy Sitters® Screening, including: 

• A background check,
  
• An extensive 3-part interview process, including an interaction portion where candidates must demonstrate their pet care skills,
  
• Reference checks, at least 3 of which must be previous pet care employers,
  
• DMV record checks, and
  
• the Savvy Sitters Orientation program.
